• How much do Eclipse and Enlighten cost?

    Eclipse and Enlighten are charged on a monthly basis and unlike many software providers, we do not charge per seat.  Instead the monthly fee works on a banding structure based on the amount that you bill through the system.  We are highly competitive and have low-cost entry options available.

  • Do I need an experienced billing manager in my business?

    No.  It is more important to have someone in your team with an eye for detail, in many of our customers’ cases this is an existing member of staff, often in the accounts team, who has responsibility for billing during the run period.  It is always a good idea to provide training to another or others to ensure you always have cover.

  • Do bills go out in my name?

    Bills can be set up to go out with your company’s branding, in the branding of your channel customer or even duel branded with another organisation if required.  This is something that you can set up and control on a customer-by-customer basis.

  • Can customers view bills online?

    Customers can view bills online through the Enlighten web portal.  This is available for an additional fee and can be accessed from your website and designed to match your branding.

  • How do I import CDR data?

    Eclipse can auto-collect and auto-import files from specific carriers and suppliers.  Where this is not possible, Eclipse has an easy import tool that allows you to import data from any carrier with the click of a button.  It is a simple as uploading a photograph to a social media website.

  • Is there reporting available?

    Yes.  The Eclipse billing platform comes supplied with a range of standard reports for both customer and data related information, an almost unlimited range of bespoke reports can be created using the in-built report generators.

    Billing information is available to customers in multiple formats with the ability to specify from a range of graphical and statistical reports.  Inform Billing can provide custom exports and reports to match the needs of your business and end customer expectations.

  • Can Eclipse integrate with other systems?

    Eclipse can interface with systems such as Sage through a file transfer.  The level of integration is application specific and bespoke integration can also be considered.  Please talk to us if you have an exact requirement.

  • How do I get billing figures into my accounts package?

    Typically this is done through an export from Eclipse into your accounts package.  We already work with popular packages such as Sage, Xero and Xoom, but are also able to work with others on request.

  • Does Eclipse support WLR3?

    We find that because carriers in the main provide access to WRL3 in their packages, it isn’t a necessary requirement for Eclipse.  However, if this doesn’t fit with your requirements we are happy to discuss options further.

  • Will you collect money on our behalf?

    Unfortunately we do not provide a collection service, although we’d be happy to talk you through the mechanics and issues such as direct debit collection.  In addition, through Eclipse you can export files that will facilitate easy collection through a third party.

  • What do my bills look like?

    Please contact us and we will send you a sample bill.  Please bear in mind that this is using placeholder branding and that your logo, or a logo/s of your choice can be used on the bill.

  • Do you have a demo version?

    Yes, we host regular demos to talk potential customers through the benefits of the billing products.

  • Is Eclipse hosted or on-premise? And how do we access it?

    Eclipse is offered as both a hosted and an on-premise solution – the choice is yours.  If you opt for the hosted solution, Eclipse can be accessed through an internet connection.  The on-premise option is a client servicer application, accessed through a desktop session on a local PC.

  • What carriers do you deal with?

    Eclipse supports all known carriers and any unknown carriers can be supported.

  • Can I pay dealer commissions through Eclipse?

    Yes. Eclipse has a powerful dealer commission rating engine where each and every dealer can have a commissioning structure set, or even multiple structures per dealer.

  • Has Eclipse got CRM included?

    Our recommendation is to use a dedicated CRM system which can then integrate with Eclipse if required.

  • How long does it take to set the system up?

    That can depend upon your requirements.  For example – a new reseller with no customers starting from scratch can be set up, trained and ready to bill within 10 working days.  A larger reseller who requires a data migration can take between eight and 12 weeks.
